2. At a glance

This website does not use cookies, does not use any analytics or tracking services and does not embed third-party content. Fonts are served from our own server. Personal information is only processed where necessary to operate the website, to answer email enquiries and to send the newsletter. We do not sell or share personal information.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by KnownHost LLC, USA. Each time the site is accessed, the server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and browser and operating system. This data is used solely to deliver and secure the website and is deleted after 30 days at the latest, unless it is needed to investigate a security incident. For visitors from the EU, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

KnownHost processes this data on our behalf. KnownHost is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on which transfers of personal data from the EU to the United States are based (Art. 45 GDPR).

4. Email and contact form

If you contact us by email or via the contact form (name, email address, message), the information you provide is used only to respond to your enquiry. It is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Newsletter

To receive “art and exhibition updates” you need to provide your email address. Sign-up uses a double opt-in: your address is added to the mailing list only after you confirm it via the link in a confirmation email. We store your email address and the time and IP address of sign-up and confirmation as proof of consent. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

The newsletter is sent via Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 9–17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France), acting as our processor. Opens and clicks are not tracked.

You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to info@lenabader.art. After unsubscribing, your address is deleted; it may be kept on a suppression list so that you receive no further emails.

6. Instagram

This website contains a simple link to Lena Bader’s Instagram profile. No data is sent to Instagram when the page loads. Only if you click the link are you taken to Instagram (Meta), where Meta’s privacy policy applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. A short email to info@lenabader.art is sufficient. Visitors from the EU may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

8. Information for visitors from the United States

The only personally identifiable information collected through this website is the email address you provide for the newsletter, and the name, email address and message you send via email or the contact form. It is shared only with the service providers named above (hosting and newsletter delivery) and is never sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes. You can review, correct or delete your information at any time by contacting info@lenabader.art.

Do Not Track: because this website does not track visitors across websites or over time, browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change how it operates.

Children: this website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Security and changes

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognisable by “https://” in the address bar. If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
